6th/7th/8th Grade Focus: Submit STEAM Conservation Projects and Work on iShowcase/Genius Hour

1. Students: Please use the following link to quickly submit your STEAM project from last week here. You must log-in to your google account to view the survey:

2. iShowcase June 8th 5:00 - 7:30

All students will be presenting work at iShowcase on June 8th. This is an opportunity for you to shine and show what you have learned to your parents and our community. The 6th and 7th grade students will be presenting their Genius Hour work from 5:15 to 6:00 and the 8th grade students will be presenting their Best Works Portfolio from 6:20 to 7:30. Below are links to help you create your presentation for the night! Use this week to get started. You will have one additional week of school time right before iShowcase so get as much done as you can right now. Good luck and be ready to share what you have by Friday.

6th/7th/8th Grade Focus: Submit STEAM Conservation Projects and Work on iShowcase/Genius Hour

Take 2 minutes to submit your STEAM Conservation Project below. Then go back to working on your iShowcase presentation and your Genius Hour project. ALL students will share their progress about their projects and presentations this Thursday. Students should NOT be working on homework during today's Advisory.

Students are to report out the following in front of the class:
1. What is your Genius Hour Project?
2. Where are you at in your project progress and presentation preparation?
3. All students are presenting their Best Works/Genius Hour projects on June 8th. What are the next steps in your plan to have your presentation ready by June 8th?

  • Are you interested in singing the National Anthem at 8th grade promotion? Eighth graders must be eligible for promotion. Sixth and seventh graders are welcome to apply. See Mrs. Selby in room 9.
  • 8th graders: Are you interested in writing a promotion speech? The theme this year is the key to success. See your English teacher or Mrs. Selby if you have any questions. Speeches are due May 31st. You must be eligible for promotion.
